Introduction to the book:

The title of the book is complete idiots guide to managing your time and it was written by an author called Jeff Davidson. This book does not have editions to it. This book's target audience is those who want to manage their time and work more efficiently and those who want to get more work done and get enough sleep and mental rest.

Foreword:

The forward says that this book tells you how to become self-managers and how to change in an ever-changing and especially rapidly changing home and work environment because every day there is a new technology coming out and you are expected to learn it so it can lead to a cramped and less efficient workspace. In this book, he taught me how to master time management and not feel stressed out about the changes coming in the future.

Synopsis:

The book aims to solve all the problems related to time management, this book also teaches us how to be our own manager and how to change in a changing environment and yet hold on to our mental health and physical health. there is not much information about the author's background or the book.

Thesis:

The goal of the book was very clear which was to tell people who say that they can't manage time or that every time they try and manage time it goes the wrong way. The book way surpassed my expectations and hopes and dreams of the book and it definitely surpassed my expectations and it even relayed its message loud and clear to everyone everywhere reading this book.

Supporting arguments:

The thesis is argued with strong and lasting principles and evidence and the author used references from other books on the topic and some famous people also. The evidence proven to prove the thesis is supporting arguments from varying books and I must say that is strong evidence about the validity of this book. All the facts and opinions of other people and books are all up to date and accurate, 

Scope:

All the subjects related to time management from jobs to family to study have been covered pretty efficiently. The author's approach was partially chronological and partially descriptive and this style fitted the need of the book with great strength. The book is not the best with respect to its peers but it definitely is fighting for one of the top spots. 

Author:

The author is qualified enough because he suffered from the same problems and decided to find their answers and did his research and then wrote this book. The author's intentions in writing this book were that the people reading this book should learn how to prioritize and how manage time for their loved ones.

Prose:

The tone of the book is that the author is writing in the way he is giving advice and giving everyone evidence about his advice and how it works and what exercises you have to do and also explaining them with various illustrations. The text is organized partially with logic. The points were delivered and were clear and they were effectively communicated.

Impact of the story on me: 

The book helped me understand the subject more simply and organized and told me that these skills don't come overnight and you have to work hard to develop them. The book's weakness is that the book includes pretty old evidence and the limitation is that this book was written quite some time ago. I ultimately agree with the author's thesis because I agree that if you work hard then you will find all the time in the world for yourself.

My Suggestion:

In my opinion, this is one of the best books related to time management based on traditional methods and it tells you that you have to avoid excessive work and how to make sure not to do excessive amounts of urgent work. It also teaches you how to give your time and energy to your family members as well. It also teaches you how to manage every minute of your life so that even if someone asks what did you do in that particular minute you can reply with enthusiasm.

One of the best lines I read in this book  INTRODUCTION: The book I am going to write a review about is called The Case Book of Sherlock Holmes and it was written by Arthur Conan Doyle and was published between 1887-1927. this book was printed by the Collins Classic. There is only one edition of this book which was published in 2011. A little background o the author is provided when you initially read the book which contains his life journeys which include the journey to West Africa in 1895. INTRODUCTION: The book I will review today is The Speed Reading Book by Tony Buzan published by BBC. This current edition is the 2003 edition. but 5 other editions were published before this edition. This book is mainly for people looking to increase their reading speed(undergrad and grad students) and retention after reading.  The author's foreword mainly includes that the author once used to read at a fairly average speed.
